Globe University Veterinary Tech students gathered for hands-on training at Drummond Farms on Saturday, October 17th. Though a chilly morning, the group spent over two hours discussing alpacas and enjoying the opportunity to handle the alpacas, listen to heartbeats and abdomens and check temperatures. We thoroughly enjoyed having the University students at the farm, and look forward to additional visits in the future! Thanks Globe! |

University of Minnesota Veterinary Students paid a visit to Drummond Farms on Tuesday, November 3rd. The students spent time conducting four separate ultrasounds on Sienna, Amber, Olivia and Sherina. In addition to ultrasounds, the students had routine "hands on" experience and even observed the trimming of Sienna's tooth. We truly appreciated and enjoyed our visit from the U of M team and look forward to a future visit! |

Alpaca Farm Days were exciting at Drummond Farms! On Sunday, September 27th, as we hosted many wonderful visitors to the farm, Gray Spirit gave birth to Ronan! We all adore Gray Spirit...she's a self-assured and loving mother! Thanks to all of our guests during farm days who helped to make the event at Drummond Farms so very memorable! |
