Fairbanks Morse 15 HP Type YH Oil Engine

This Engine started life Generating Electric Power in Evansville Minnesota. In about 1925 it was purchased by the Ole Hjelle Ice Works at Barret Minnesota. It worked there along with a 20 Hp Type Y elevating ice from the lake and loading it on freight cars for shipment. These Engines are a Semi Diesel and the head and starting tube has to be preheated before starting. If everything's Right you can just bounce the flywheels back against compression and Off She Goes... The trucks are from a retired Threshing Machine.
